Mt Elbrus, 5642 m, Tour to the highest mountain of Europe

Date: 14.05. - 23.05. 2011

Price: approx. Sfr. 4300

Mt. Elbrus, lying in the Russian part of the Caucasus mountains, is one of the "seven summits", respectively the highest mountain in a continent.
Our journey takes us through Moscow to Mineralnye Vody. We can visit the world-famous Red Square and the Kremlin in Moscow. A visit to the Bolshoi Theatre is also possible.
In the Caucasus we will stay in a small hotel from which we can do day tours and so give the acclimatisation the finishing touch. The climbing of Mt. Elbrus is technically simple. However, the high altitude and the cold are factors to be reckoned with.
